Undertaker Reveals Only Two WWE Hall of Famers Who Were Not Scared of Him

The Undertaker is not only one of professional wrestling’s greatest in-ring warriors, he is undoubtedly one of the scariest.
The Dead Man seems very aware of that fact and has cultivated a sepulchral image for decades and now he’s revealed that his aura of intimidation extended to all of his WWE opponents. That is, except for two specific Hall of Fame members.

In a recent appearance on D-Von Dudley’s YouTube channel, the Undertaker opened up about how and why facing him in the ring rattled virtually every other performer he worked with in WWE.
“A lot of people don’t really realize, at this part of my career,” the Undertaker revealed. “a lot of times, the guys that I’m working with are so intimidated by working with me. A lot of them had kind of grown up already watching me, so they were really intimidated working with me.”

Over three decades, the Undertaker captured the WWF/WWE Championship four times, the World Heavyweight Championship three times, and the WWF Hardcore Championship once.
He is also a six-time WWF World Tag Team Champion and WCW Tag Team Champion with Kane, his accolades include a 2007 Royal Rumble win and 15 Slammy Awards. The Undertaker’s WrestleMania legacy is legendary, highlighted by his undefeated 21-0 streak.
In short, it makes sense why other wrestlers would be a bit intimidated to face a living legend in the ring.
According to The Undertaker, the only two WWE wrestlers who were not scared by him were Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Interestingly, he also singles them out as some of his favorite people to work with for exactly that reason.
“[Michaels] was one of my favorite people to work with,” the Dead Man said. “From early on, we always just had incredible chemistry together…When I got to work against people like Shawn or Triple H, it really freed me up to just be Undertaker, right?”
The WWE icon continued his praise of Michaels and Triple H, both of whom are now top creative executives in the company.
“Because I didn’t have to worry about what they were going to do,” Undertaker explained. “I didn’t have to think about thinking for them. They knew exactly how to react and how to pace themselves and do these kinds of things. So it just freed me up to just be Undertaker, and they could just be them because they knew I was going to be there for them.”
The Undertaker made his most recent WWE appearance at the Netflix debut of Raw, where he gave a wordless, motorcycle-assisted sign-off to new champion Rhea Ripley, though not without some behind-the-scene rewrites.
