He said cards were received to a class at the VA Medical Center from local businesses and children thanking the vets for their service on Veterans Day.

“I would just like to say thank you to all the kids and the businesses who had sent us the cards thanking us for the work that we have done supporting our country, protecting us. So thank you so much. It means a lot to me from the bottom of my heart, so thank you,” said Marr.

Marr said whether a vet is walking down the street or at the mall, it’s a great benefit to hear someone say “thank you for your service.”
