Fans have reacted in shock at the cost to see Adele live in concert, with even Oasis’ Liam Gallagher weighing in.

The “Hello” singer’s ticket prices for her Las Vegas residency recently trended on X, formerly Twitter, after user @pradamaraa commented on the cost.

“Adele tickets is $4k??? HELLO FROM THE PARKINGLOOOOOOOTTTTT,” the user wrote on November 18.

The post has since gone viral, receiving 7.1 million views and thousands of comments, with Gallagher writing, “HOW MUCH.”

Another user added: “Can someone explain to me like I’m 5 why these Adele tickets are still this f****** high and she’s been doing this residency since 2022??????!!!!!!! There are no tickets under $3000 and I’m genuinely confused.”

Adele, who is performing shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, told fans earlier this year that she planned to take a hiatus from her career.

“I have 10 shows to do, but after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time,” she told concertgoers in August. Her final show before the break is scheduled for November 23.

According to the ticketing website Seat Geek, “Typically, you can find Adele Las Vegas tickets starting at $2,809.” Newsweek contacted Adele’s representatives for comment by email outside regular working hours.

On X, one user expressed amusement at fans’ shock, suggesting that tickets to the Las Vegas residency had always been pricey.

“People just finding out that Adele’s tickets are expensive is so funny,” the user wrote.

Earlier this year, Gallagher faced his own issues with ticket prices after he and his brother Noel Gallagher announced they were reforming Oasis and planned to tour.

Fans in the U.K. faced “dynamic pricing,” where the ticket-selling site raised the price of tickets depending on demand. The band said at the time that it was unaware that dynamic pricing would be used for its concerts in the U.K. and Ireland, the BBC reported. It also said it would not use the practice when selling tickets for its North American shows.

Adele said she wanted to take a long break from music while performing a series of shows in Munich.

“I just need a rest and I’ve spent—I’ve spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now,” she told the audience in August.

“I want to live my new life that I’ve been building, and I’ll miss you terribly,” she added.

The singer had previously spoken about taking a pause in an interview with Germany’s ZDF public broadcast service.

In the July interview, she said her “tank is quite empty” and that she was looking to do other “creative things.”
