It could not be confirmed if the incident was connected to protests against Tesla owner US billionaire Elon Musk that were taking place on Saturday.

The initiative “Tesla Take Down” has called internationally for a day of protest against Tesla on March 29, saying that “hurting Tesla is stopping Musk” and his influence on “harming democracy”.

In Berlin about a dozen people gathered at a Tesla showroom on the outskirts of the city and a small group staged a protest at a showroom in the city centre.

Local media reported that around 20-30 people gathered in protest at the Tesla gigafactory in Gruenheide, near Berlin.
