A 17-year-old boy died in a motorcycle crash in Surrey, police have said.

The teenager died at the scene of the single-vehicle crash, which happened at about 17:00 GMT on Wednesday on the southbound A24, Horsham Road, in Beare Green.

Surrey Police said it was appealing for witnesses or those with with CCTV, dash cam or helmet cam footage following the crash.

A spokesperson said: “His next-of-kin have been made aware and our thoughts are with them at this time.”
