A Mega Millions ticket gave a lucky lottery winner an estimated $1.22 billion jackpot this holiday season.

The ticket sold in Cottonwood, California, matched all six numbers from Dec. 27’s drawing, according to a news release from the Mega Millions consortium of lotteries Saturday.

A $1 million prize ticket was also sold in Arizona. The prize is based on the ticket matching the numbers of the five white balls, which were 3, 7, 37, 49, and 55. The number on the sixth, yellow ball was 6.

This was the fourth Mega Millions jackpot win this year and the fifth-largest Mega Millions jackpot in history.

The next drawing was scheduled for Dec. 31 and the jackpot has reset to an estimated $20 million top prize. There has never been a Mega Millions jackpot winner on New Year’s Eve, according to the lottery.

Drawings are conducted at 11 p.m. Eastern time/8 p.m. Arizona time.
