HOUSTON (KIAH) — According to multiple employees at Saint Joseph Medical Center in downtown Houston, they didn’t get paid on Friday or, at best, only received partial paychecks. The hospital recently changed ownership and was taken over by a new company, Healthcare Systems of America, in September. A spokesperson for the company said that the problem is the result of technical issues that occurred during the transfer from the old owner and all employees should receive the correct paychecks by the next day.
